The Xtreme system combines high-sensitivity optical molecular imaging (Biolumenescence and Fluorescence) along with high-resolution digital x-ray to deliver precise anatomical localization of molecular and cellular biomarkers in vivo.  Software automation simplifies complex multimodal imaging protocols for small animal imaging. The system includes animal handling features such as a heated sample shelf, a gas anesthesia system and MARS 360 degree animal rotation system (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V49qHYAqWsY).

Bone denstiy measurements are possible: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPfd6_5rung

System purchased with the generous support of the OVPR, CBS and AHC/Medical School through an I3 award.
